How to add a Squarespace number counter
Step 1: Install Spark Plugin
(If you already have Spark Plugin on your site, move straight to the next step!)
Take the code snippet you received when you signed up to Spark Plugin and go to Website, Website Tools, and Code Injection.
Paste the code snippet into the header box and click Save.
You’ll know the code worked as you’ll see a small pink ‘K’ icon in the top-right-hand corner of your Squarespace site.
Step 2: Add your number
Go to the page you want to add your animated number to. Type your number into a text block and format it how you want.
We recommend only having one number in each text block, as Spark Plugin will animate all the numbers in the block.
Step 3: Animate your number
Stay on the page with the number you want to animate and click on the Spark Plugin logo in the top right-hand corner of your website. This will open the Spark Plugin menu.
Click on Texts, which is the second option in the menu.
Next, click on the block containing the text you want to animate; this will highlight it in red.
Scroll down to Number Counter and toggle it from off to on. As if by magic, your number will start animating upwards like in the video below!
Once you’re done, click Publish to save your changes and exit the Spark Plugin menu.

If your number doesn’t animate, double-check that you’ve selected the block it’s in and switch on Number Counter again.
